This week I read an interesting article about something that brought this topic to mind. I read how a tennis star has bought up the worlds supply of donkey cheese to serve in his new chain of restaurants. I never even knew there was donkey cheese until I read the article, but then I thought I recalled someone making cheese from human breast milk and again looked it up, and low and behold, there are several places you can actually buy human milk made into cheese online from.
There is no doubt a certain kind of stigma that comes from consuming breast milk unless you are a baby. Yet humans think nothing of consuming milk from untold cows, goats, and apparently donkeys… Yet a human would have more through blood tests and screenings and could be monitored for diet, smoking habits etc. That would affect the taste of the cheese. There was some excitement a number of months back when an ice cream parlor was featuring ice cream made from human milk.
There are far worse and more disgusting things people consume other than breast milk, which actually is made for humans. It’s much more natural for us to consume breast milk than it is for us to consume cows milk, yet most will get uncomfortable at the thought of consuming cheese or ice cream made from a human.
