The Madonna Whore complex is alive and well within today’s societies. Especially within more restrictive cultures in the East, where if a woman has any sort of sex before marriage, she could be killed to erase her families shame at such an act by someone in their family. Men of this mindset will view women as one of two types-the “good girl”, or the “bad girl”. One they desire and want to fuck, the other is too pure and not meant for such base desires.
Freud wrote: “Where such men love they have no desire and where they desire they cannot love.” I recall a line in a movie where the character was a married man that saw other women on the side and he loved to fuck them anally and when the girl he was fucking asked him why he didn’t fuck his wife that way, he replied she was the mother of his children, and he wouldn’t even think of such a thing. Many men do think this way. Ones they think of as the wives and mothers, they simply can’t think of the same way as a sex object. I recall reading once that Elvis wouldn’t have sex with a woman that had given birth to a child, his own marriage didn’t last long after his daughter was born, so there may have been some truth to that.
It’s just how some men view women, and it’s sad. A woman can be a lady in the parlor and a whore in the bedroom. It’s supposed to be men that had cold mothers that seem more afflicted with this complex. Mothers sure screw their kids up. It’s a shame so many men see women as black or white, people have many facets to their personalities and can be different things to different people.
