What other room other than the bedroom is the second most popular room for sex? Why the bathroom, of course. I’m not the best housekeeper, so the idea doesn’t appeal to me, but for many sex in bathrooms is a very exciting place, personal bathrooms and public bathrooms. In bars washrooms are common trysting spots for quickies with people you may never even see again, they can’t even wait to go to their car!
How many times on the news have we seen politicians getting caught in rest stop restrooms or airport bathrooms looking for illicit sex with others? There’s a hilarious scene in the movie “There’s Something About Mary” with the star of the movie, Ben Stiller getting unwittingly caught up in a gay rest stop sting he had no idea he was stumbling upon. Many truck stops, highway rest stops, etc., have bad reputations for quickie gay sex that are frequently targeted by law officers.
Bathrooms by their very nature have us going in to do bodily things, things that also involve our sexual organs and sex can sometimes follow in such arenas. Sex in the shower at home seems fairly normal, but in a bar or restaurant bathroom stall just seems very icky to me, I do everything I can to wait til I get home to avoid public restrooms, the thought of getting sexual in one is not something I would be doing, but many do, all the time. It was such a problem in New York City at one point, they removed outdoor portapoties to get rid of the problem.
